The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery participates in The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and National Resident Matching Program. The deadline for submitting an application is October 1. Approximately 35 individuals are offered interviews and resident selection is based on the application and the personal interview. Particular research training or clinical training interests should be discussed with the Chairman, Robert C. Kern, MD.
Three appointments are made each year. Each resident entering the program, given acceptable performance and progress, is assured a position for the duration of the program.
