| Patient care at the Center for Voice at Northwestern is comprehensive and interdisciplinary in both evaluation and treatment. Evaluation relies on appreciation of all the factors that go into a person's sense of well-being. These include the influence of other Otolaryngologic (Ear, Nose and Throat) disorders such as sinusitis and allergy, in addition the unique voice needs of the patient. The underlying treatment philosophy is centered on eliminating causative factors for the voice disorder, in addition to addressing factors that may benefit from medical and surgical intervention.
