Rotation Schedule

Block Diagram of Fellow Weekly Schedule

This table lists the default location and activity for the fellow each day of the week.  Areas with multiple entries denotes times when multiple options are available and fellow involvement will be decided on a day-by-day basis depending on what particular operative cases are being done that week.  Of note, the Monday morning clinic is a multidisciplinary head and neck tumor clinic where the fellow will work in close collaboration with Medical and Radiation Oncology

The head and neck service has dedicated block time for TORS on a dual console daVinci SI.

Free tissue transfer is generally performed on Tuesdays, as well as Fridays at Cook County Hospital.  The fellow has access to these opportunities, depending on how much reconstructive experience is desired.

When an attending is away for conference/vacation, the fellow will be expected in the alternate experience listed, or may spend time on research or case conference preparation.
